Besides being a good investment, I honestly would rather wear something that looks real and is, rather than something that looks real and isn't. If worst comes to worst, I've got the car payment, mortgage payment, utilities, and grocery bills on my wrists, fingers, and neck. Ackerman's is the place to go- Large selection of many styles and pieces- The most honest and helpful staff: Here's a story - while skiing, my husband hit his ring finger on a tree, just his ring finger. Now, his ring doesn't fit. (maybe I'm missing the hint). Instead of being too eager to replace his band, the jeweler suggested waiting another two or three months for the swelling to go down.- Great repair service. Trustworthy and skilled. I've had numerous earrings made from links removed from bracelets and necklaces. Please, take my advice. This is your jeweler.
The staff is AWESOME! It doesn't matter who helps you, they are all superb! Lauren has been helping me for five years & I walk in & she knows exactly where to point me because she knows her inventory and she knows my taste! In addition to that, Stephanie has helped me 'make' my own personal pieces with her designing expertise. I literally bring her a few family stones and wah-lah- she has fantastic ideas and tons of patience. I have never been disappointed with a single piece Ive created with her. EXCELLENT QUALITY too! And that my friends, is why I drive an hour to be an Ackerman customer.
Buying an engagement ring can be challenging, and actually finding a good place to purchase a ring is even more difficult. I went to a few other stores and I always left feeling uncomfortable, until I went to Ackerman Jewelers. Giovanni was welcoming and never made me feel like buying a ring was a task, but more of an experience. Every time I met with Giovanni it was enjoyable and stress-free. He was patient and knowledgeable, and we found a set that my fiance loved. I was so relieved! Even after the engagement, he has made himself available to answer our endless questions and concerns. The entire staff at Ackerman Jewelers is so friendly, personable and most importantly, professional. On the most recent visits to Ackerman's, we had to send the ring away to get sized, and they even gave my fiance another setting with our diamond for her to wear in the meantime. When we went to leave, her car didn't start, we opened the hood, and within 2 minutes, Giovanni and another associate came out to make sure we were ok, offered to jump the car, and helped us realize that the battery terminal was loose. Look no further, guys. This is the best place you can go.

I had the best experience with Ackerman. I went in to buy an engagement ring to propose on Christmas. I was greeted by Peter and he was such a big help. Not only did he help me get the perfect "yes" ring but his customer service was far more than I expected. What a personal touch you get when you go here. I recommend Ackerman to everyone and will never even consider another jeweler as I know I will never get the great service that I get there. Don't waste your time with the others. I went to many of them and was completely blown away on my visit here. If you go ask for Peter and you will see what I mean. He's awesome!!!
Ackerman Jewelers has earned my business for life. I had a problem with my wife's engagement ring that I bought from a different jeweler, so I called around. When I contacted Ackerman, I spoke with Stephanie. Stephanie was EXTREMELY kind, helpful, generous, and understanding of my concerns. Her excellent customer service is honestly unparalleled - I have never been treated so well by a jeweler. Even though I purchased the ring elsewhere, Ackerman was there for me 100%. Stephanie contacted the rings manufacturer for me, arranged everything, and kept me informed every step of the way of what would have been a very difficult process for me to navigate alone. I will never forget her professionalism and courtesy. In the end, I got my wife's ring back completely fixed, and the good folks at Ackerman even appraised it and helped me get insurance on it. As long as I am in Tampa, I will never shop at another jeweler again. Forget the mall chain stores -- I went to several of them before Ackerman and was only blown off and misinformed. If you want true quality customer service, a jeweler that stands behind their products, and great selection, go to Ackerman.
Ackerman's designed a beautiful custom wedding ring for me back in 1993, using the diamond from my grandmother's engagement ring and 10 small diamonds from my existing ring. I loved it and got many compliments on it over the years. I finally decided it was time for an update to it, so of course I went back to Ackerman's to do it! Working with Dina to design the new "look" was really a great experience! She is so knowledgeable and fun to work with. She was able to take my vague vision of what I wanted and give me some great suggestions! Best of all, we were able to incorporate my grandmother's diamond, my existing 10 small diamonds, and with the addition of a few more small diamonds for even more sparkle, I now have a new ring that it totally awesome!!!We have made a variety of purchases from Ackerman's over the years and always have been very impressed by our experiences there. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality jewelry store with a wonderful staff and great service!

For a first time ring buyer, this was a great experience. I took a gamble and went with all the positive reviews I read on here. It's a large, nice and clean gallery full of jewelry and welcoming staff. Linda approached me and assisted with me through the entire process, offering drinks and great suggestions.I forgot the floor managers name, but he was more than helpful as well. What honestly stood out is that I felt like I wasn't getting ripped off or scammed. That is why I'm giving them five stars. I truly would highly recommend to visit Ackerman for whatever your jewelry needs are.
